भविष्यवाणी और अन्य अन्य भाषाए 
1 कुरिन्थियों(1 Corinthians) 14
14:1 प्रेम का अनुकरण करो, और आत्मिक वरदानों की भी धुन में रहो विशेष करके यह, कि भविष्यद्वाणी करो।
14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
14:2 क्योंकि जो अन्य ‘भाषा में बातें करता है; वह मनुष्यों से नहीं, परन्तु परमेश्वर से बातें करता है; इसलिये कि उस की कोई नहीं समझता; क्योंकि वह भेद की बातें आत्मा में होकर बोलता है।
14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
14:3 परन्तु जो भविष्यद्वाणी करता है, वह मनुष्यों से उन्नति, और उपदेश, और शान्ति की बातें कहता है।
14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
14:4 जो अन्य भाषा में बातें करता है, वह अपनी ही उन्नति करता है; परन्तु जो भविष्यद्वाणी करता है, वह कलीसिया की उन्नति करता है।
14:4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
14:5 मैं चाहता हूं, कि तुम सब अन्य भाषाओं में बातें करो, परन्तु अधिकतर यह चाहता हूं कि भविष्यद्वाणी करो: क्योंकि यदि अन्यान्य भाषा बोलने वाला कलीसिया की उन्नति के लिये अनुवाद न करे तो भविष्यद्ववाणी करने वाला उस से बढ़कर है।
14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
14:6 इसलिये हे भाइयों, यदि मैं तुम्हारे पास आकर अन्य अन्य भाषा में बातें करूं, और प्रकाश, या ज्ञान, या भविष्यद्वाणी, या उपदेश की बातें तुम से न कहूं, तो मुझ से तुम्हें क्या लाभ होगा?
14:6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?
14:7 इसी प्रकार यदि निर्जीव वस्तुएं भी, जिन से ध्वनि निकलती है जैसे बांसुरी, या बीन, यदि उन के स्वरों में भेद न हो तो जो फूंका या बजाया जाता है, वह क्योंकर पहिचाना जाएगा?
14:7 And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?
14:8 और यदि तुरही का शब्द साफ न हो तो कौन लड़ाई के लिये तैयारी करेगा?
14:8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
14:9 ऐसे ही तुम भी यदि जीभ से साफ साफ बातें न कहो, तो जो कुछ कहा जाता है वह क्योंकर समझा जाएगा? तुम तो हवा से बातें करने वाले ठहरोगे।
14:9 So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.
14:10 जगत में कितने ही प्रकार की भाषाएं क्यों न हों, परन्तु उन में से कोई भी बिना अर्थ की न होगी।
14:10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.
14:11 इसलिये यदि मैं किसी भाषा का अर्थ न समझूं, तो बोलने वाले की दृष्टि में परदेशी ठहरूंगा; और बोलने वाला मेरे दृष्टि में परदेशी ठहरेगा।
14:11 Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
14:12 इसलिये तुम भी जब आत्मिक वरदानों की धुन में हो, तो ऐसा प्रयत्न करो, कि तुम्हारे वरदानों की उन्नति से कलीसिया की उन्नति हो।
14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
14:13 इस कारण जो अन्य भाषा बोले, तो वह प्रार्थना करे, कि उसका अनुवाद भी कर सके।
14:13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
14:14 इसलिये यदि मैं अन्य भाषा में प्रार्थना करूं, तो मेरी आत्मा प्रार्थना करती है, परन्तु मेरी बुद्धि काम नहीं देती।
14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
14:15 सो क्या करना चाहिए मैं आत्मा से भी प्रार्थना करूंगा, और बुद्धि से भी प्रार्थना करूंगा; मैं आत्मा से गाऊंगा, और बुद्धि से भी गाऊंगा।
14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
14:16 नहीं तो यदि तू आत्मा ही से धन्यवाद करेगा, तो फिर अज्ञानी तेरे धन्यवाद पर आमीन क्योंकर कहेगा? इसलिये कि वह तो नहीं जानता, कि तू क्या कहता है?
14:16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
14:17 तू तो भली भांति से धन्यवाद करता है, परन्तु दूसरे की उन्नति नहीं होती।
14:17 For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.
14:18 मैं अपने परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता हूं, कि मैं तुम सब से अधिक अन्य अन्य भाषा में बोलता हूं।
14:18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:
14:19 परन्तु कलीसिया में अन्य भाषा में दस हजार बातें कहने से यह मुझे और भी अच्छा जान पड़ता है, कि औरों के सिखाने के लिये बुद्धि से पांच ही बातें कहूं॥
14:19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.
14:20 हे भाइयो, तुम समझ में बालक न बनो: तौभी बुराई में तो बालक रहो, परन्तु समझ में सियाने बनो।
14:20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.
14:21 व्यवस्था में लिखा है, कि प्रभु कहता है; मैं अन्य भाषा बोलने वालों के द्वारा, और पराए मुख के द्वारा इन लोगों से बात करूंगा तौभी वे मेरी न सुनेंगे।
14:21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the LORD.
14:22 इसलिये अन्य अन्य भाषाएं विश्वासियों के लिये नहीं, परन्तु अविश्वासियों के लिये चिन्ह हैं, और भविष्यद्वाणी अविश्वासीयों के लिये नहीं परन्तु विश्वासियों के लिये चिन्ह हैं।
14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
14:23 सो यदि कलीसिया एक जगह इकट्ठी हो, और सब के सब अन्य अन्य भाषा बोलें, और अनपढ़े या अविश्वासी लोग भीतर आ जाएं तो क्या वे तुम्हें पागल न कहेंगे?
14:23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?
14:24 परन्तु यदि सब भविष्यद्वाणी करने लगें, और कोई अविश्वासी या अनपढ़ा मनुष्य भीतर आ जाए, तो सब उसे दोषी ठहरा देंगे और परखलेंगे।
14:24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:
14:25 और उसके मन के भेद प्रगट हो जाएंगे, और तब वह मुंह के बल गिरकर परमेश्वर को दण्डवत करेगा, और मान लेगा, कि सचमुच परमेश्वर तुम्हारे बीच में है।
14:25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

                        उपासना में अनुशासन 

14:26 इसलिये हे भाइयो क्या करना चाहिए? जब तुम इकट्ठे होते हो, तो हर एक के हृदय में भजन, या उपदेश, या अन्यभाषा, या प्रकाश, या अन्यभाषा का अर्थ बताना रहता है: सब कुछ आत्मिक उन्नति के लिये होना चाहिए।
14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
14:27 यदि अन्य भाषा में बातें करनीं हों, तो दो दो, या बहुत हो तो तीन तीन जन बारी बारी बोलें, और एक व्यक्ति अनुवाद करे।
14:27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
14:28 परन्तु यदि अनुवाद करने वाला न हो, तो अन्य भाषा बालने वाला कलीसिया में शान्त रहे, और अपने मन से, और परमेश्वर से बातें करे।
14:28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
14:29 भविष्यद्वक्ताओं में से दो या तीन बोलें, और शेष लोग उन के वचन को परखें।
14:29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.
14:30 परन्तु यदि दूसरे पर जो बैठा है, कुछ ईश्वरीय प्रकाश हो, तो पहिला चुप हो जाए।
14:30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.
14:31 क्योंकि तुम सब एक एक करके भविष्यद्वाणी कर सकते हो ताकि सब सीखें, और सब शान्ति पाएं।
14:31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
14:32 और भविष्यद्वक्ताओं की आत्मा भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के वश में है।
14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
14:33 क्योंकि परमेश्वर गड़बड़ी का नहीं, परन्तु शान्ति का कर्त्ता है; जैसा पवित्र लोगों की सब कलीसियाओं में है॥
14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
14:34 स्त्रियां कलीसिया की सभा में चुप रहें, क्योंकि उन्हें बातें करने की आज्ञा नहीं, परन्तु आधीन रहने की आज्ञा है: जैसा व्यवस्था में लिखा भी है।
14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
14:35 और यदि वे कुछ सीखना चाहें, तो घर में अपने अपने पति से पूछें, क्योंकि स्त्री का कलीसिया में बातें करना लज्ज़ा की बात है।
14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
14:36 क्या परमेश्वर का वचन तुम में से निकला? या केवल तुम ही तक पहुंचा है?
14:36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?
14:37 यदि कोई मनुष्य अपने आप को भविष्यद्वक्ता या आत्मिक जन समझे, तो यह जान ले, कि जो बातें मैं तुम्हें लिखता हूं, वे प्रभु की आज्ञाएं हैं।
14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
14:38 परन्तु यदि कोई न जाने, तो न जाने॥
14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.
14:39 सो हे भाइयों, भविष्यद्वाणी करने की धुन में रहो और अन्य भाषा बोलने से मना न करो।
14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
14:40 पर सारी बातें सभ्यता और क्रमानुसार की जाएं।
14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

1 कुरिन्थियों(1 Corinthians) 13
13:1 यदि मैं मनुष्यों, और सवर्गदूतों की बोलियां बोलूं, और प्रेम न रखूं, तो मैं ठनठनाता हुआ पीतल, और झंझनाती हुई झांझ हूं।
13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
13:2 और यदि मैं भविष्यद्वाणी कर सकूं, और सब भेदों और सब प्रकार के ज्ञान को समझूं, और मुझे यहां तक पूरा विश्वास हो, कि मैं पहाड़ों को हटा दूं, परन्तु प्रेम न रखूं, तो मैं कुछ भी नहीं।
13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
13:3 और यदि मैं अपनी सम्पूर्ण संपत्ति कंगालों को खिला दूं, या अपनी देह जलाने के लिये दे दूं, और प्रेम न रखूं, तो मुझे कुछ भी लाभ नहीं।
13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
13:4 प्रेम धीरजवन्त है, और कृपाल है; प्रेम डाह नहीं करता; प्रेम अपनी बड़ाई नहीं करता, और फूलता नहीं।
13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
13:5 वह अनरीति नहीं चलता, वह अपनी भलाई नहीं चाहता, झुंझलाता नहीं, बुरा नहीं मानता।
13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
13:6 कुकर्म से आनन्दित नहीं होता, परन्तु सत्य से आनन्दित होता है।
13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
13:7 वह सब बातें सह लेता है, सब बातों की प्रतीति करता है, सब बातों की आशा रखता है, सब बातों में धीरज धरता है।
13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
13:8 प्रेम कभी टलता नहीं; भविष्यद्वाणियां हों, तो समाप्त हो जाएंगी, भाषाएं हो तो जाती रहेंगी; ज्ञान हो, तो मिट जाएगा।
13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
13:9 क्योंकि हमारा ज्ञान अधूरा है, और हमारी भविष्यद्वाणी अधूरी।
13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
13:10 परन्तु जब सवर्सिद्ध आएगा, तो अधूरा मिट जाएगा।
13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
13:11 जब मैं बालक था, तो मैं बालकों की नाईं बोलता था, बालकों का सा मन था बालकों की सी समझ थी; परन्तु सियाना हो गया, तो बालकों की बातें छोड़ दी।
13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
13:12 अब हमें दर्पण में धुंधला सा दिखाई देता है; परन्तु उस समय आमने साम्हने देखेंगे, इस समय मेरा ज्ञान अधूरा है; परन्तु उस समय ऐसी पूरी रीति से पहिचानूंगा, जैसा मैं पहिचाना गया हूं।
13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13:13 पर अब विश्वास, आशा, प्रेम थे तीनों स्थाई है, पर इन में सब से बड़ा प्रेम है।
13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

1 कुरिन्थियों(1 Corinthians) 12
12:1 हे भाइयों, मैं नहीं चाहता कि तुम आत्मिक वरदानों के विषय में अज्ञात रहो।
12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
12:2 तुम जानते हो, कि जब तुम अन्यजाति थे, तो गूंगी मूरतों के पीछे जैसे चलाए जाते थे वैसे चलते थे।
12:2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
12:3 इसलिये मैं तुम्हें चितौनी देता हूं कि जो कोई परमेश्वर की आत्मा की अगुआई से बोलता है, वह नहीं कहता कि यीशु स्त्रापित है; और न कोई पवित्र आत्मा के बिना कह सकता है कि यीशु प्रभु है॥
12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
12:4 वरदान तो कई प्रकार के हैं, परन्तु आत्मा एक ही है।
12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
12:5 और सेवा भी कई प्रकार की है, परन्तु प्रभु एक ही है।
12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
12:6 और प्रभावशाली कार्य कई प्रकार के हैं, परन्तु परमेश्वर एक ही है, जो सब में हर प्रकार का प्रभाव उत्पन्न करता है।
12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
12:7 किन्तु सब के लाभ पहुंचाने के लिये हर एक को आत्मा का प्रकाश दिया जाता है।
12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
12:8 क्योंकि एक को आत्मा के द्वारा बुद्धि की बातें दी जाती हैं; और दूसरे को उसी आत्मा के अनुसार ज्ञान की बातें।
12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
12:9 और किसी को उसी आत्मा से विश्वास; और किसी को उसी एक आत्मा से चंगा करने का वरदान दिया जाता है।
12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
12:10 फिर किसी को सामर्थ के काम करने की शक्ति; और किसी को भविष्यद्वाणी की; और किसी को आत्माओं की परख, और किसी को अनेक प्रकार की भाषा; और किसी को भाषाओं का अर्थ बताना।
12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
12:11 परन्तु ये सब प्रभावशाली कार्य वही एक आत्मा करवाता है, और जिसे जो चाहता है वह बांट देता है॥
12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12:12 क्योंकि जिस प्रकार देह तो एक है और उसके अंग बहुत से हैं, और उस एक देह के सब अंग, बहुत होने पर भी सब मिलकर एक ही देह हैं, उसी प्रकार मसीह भी है।
12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
12:13 क्योंकि हम सब ने क्या यहूदी हो, क्या युनानी, क्या दास, क्या स्वतंत्र एक ही आत्मा के द्वारा एक देह होने के लिये बपतिस्मा लिया, और हम सब को एक ही आत्मा पिलाया गया।
12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
12:14 इसलिये कि देह में एक ही अंग नहीं, परन्तु बहुत से हैं।
12:14 For the body is not one member, but many.
12:15 यदि पांव कहे कि मैं हाथ नहीं, इसलिये देह का नहीं, तो क्या वह इस कारण देह का नहीं?
12:15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
12:16 और यदि कान कहे; कि मैं आंख नहीं, इसलिये देह का नहीं, तो क्या वह इस कारण देह का नहीं?
12:16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
12:17 यदि सारी देह आंख की होती तो सुनना कहां से होता? यदि सारी देह कान ही होती तो सूंघना कहां होता?
12:17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
12:18 परन्तु सचमुच परमेश्वर ने अंगो को अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार एक एक कर के देह में रखा है।
12:18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
12:19 यदि वे सब एक ही अंग होते, तो देह कहां होती?
12:19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
12:20 परन्तु अब अंग तो बहुत से हैं, परन्तु देह एक ही है।
12:20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
12:21 आंख हाथ से नहीं कह सकती, कि मुझे तेरा प्रयोजन नहीं, और न सिर पांवों से कह सकता है, कि मुझे तुम्हारा प्रयोजन नहीं।
12:21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
12:22 परन्तु देह के वे अंग जो औरों से निर्बल देख पड़ते हैं, बहुत ही आवश्यक हैं।
12:22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
12:23 और देह के जिन अंगो को हम आदर के योग्य नहीं समझते हैं उन्ही को हम अधिक आदर देते हैं; और हमारे शोभाहीन अंग और भी बहुत शोभायमान हो जाते हैं।
12:23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
12:24 फिर भी हमारे शोभायमान अंगो को इस का प्रयोजन नहीं, परन्तु परमेश्वर ने देह को ऐसा बना दिया है, कि जिस अंग को घटी थी उसी को और भी बहुत आदर हो।
12:24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
12:25 ताकि देह में फूट न पड़े, परन्तु अंग एक दूसरे की बराबर चिन्ता करें।
12:25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
12:26 इसलिये यदि एक अंग दु:ख पाता है, तो सब अंग उसके साथ दु:ख पाते हैं; और यदि एक अंग की बड़ाई होती है, तो उसके साथ सब अंग आनन्द मनाते हैं।
12:26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
12:27 इसी प्रकार तुम सब मिल कर मसीह की देह हो, और अलग अलग उसके अंग हो।
12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
12:28 और परमेश्वर ने कलीसिया में अलग अलग व्यक्ति नियुक्त किए हैं; प्रथम प्रेरित, दूसरे भविष्यद्वक्ता, तीसरे शिक्षक, फिर सामर्थ के काम करने वाले, फिर चंगा करने वाले, और उपकार करने वाले, और प्रधान, और नाना प्रकार की भाषा बोलने वाले।
12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
12:29 क्या सब प्रेरित हैं? क्या सब भविष्यद्वक्ता हैं? क्या सब उपदेशक हैं? क्या सब सामर्थ के काम करने वाले हैं?
12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
12:30 क्या सब को चंगा करने का वरदान मिला है? क्या सब नाना प्रकार की भाषा बोलते हैं?
12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
12:31 क्या सब अनुवाद करते हैं? तुम बड़े से बड़े वरदानों की धुन में रहो! परन्तु मैं तुम्हें और भी सब से उत्तम मार्ग बताता हूं॥
12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

1 कुरिन्थियों(1 Corinthians) 11
11:1 तुम मेरी सी चाल चलो जैसा मैं मसीह की सी चाल चलता हूं॥
11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
11:2 हे भाइयों, मैं तुम्हें सराहता हूं, कि सब बातों में तुम मुझे स्मरण करते हो: और जो व्यवहार मैं ने तुम्हें सौंप दिए हैं, उन्हें धारण करते हो।
11:2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
11:3 सो मैं चाहता हूं, कि तुम यह जान लो, कि हर एक पुरूष का सिर मसीह है: और स्त्री का सिर पुरूष है: और मसीह का सिर परमेश्वर है।
11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
11:4 जो पुरूष सिर ढांके हुए प्रार्थना या भविष्यद्वाणी करता है, वह अपने सिर का अपमान करता है।
11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
11:5 परन्तु जो स्त्री उघाड़े सिर प्रार्थना या भविष्यद्ववाणी करती है, वह अपने सिर का अपमान करती है, क्योंकि वह मुण्डी होने के बराबर है।
11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
11:6 यदि स्त्री ओढ़नी न ओढ़े, तो बाल भी कटा ले; यदि स्त्री के लिये बाल कटाना या मुण्डाना लज्ज़ा की बात है, तो ओढ़नी ओढ़े।
11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
11:7 हां पुरूष को अपना सिर ढांकना उचित नहीं, क्योंकि वह परमेश्वर का स्वरूप और महिमा है; परन्तु स्त्री पुरूष की महिमा!
11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
11:8 क्योंकि पुरूष स्त्री से नहीं हुआ, परन्तु स्त्री पुरूष से हुई है।
11:8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
11:9 और पुरूष स्त्री के लिये नहीं सिरजा गया, परन्तु स्त्री पुरूष के लिये सिरजी गई है।
11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
11:10 इसीलिये स्वर्गदूतों के कारण स्त्री को उचित है, कि अधिकार अपने सिर पर रखे।
11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
11:11 तौभी प्रभु में न तो स्त्री बिना पुरूष और न पुरूष बिना स्त्री के है।
11:11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
11:12 क्योंकि जैसे स्त्री पुरूष से है, वैसे ही पुरूष स्त्री के द्वारा है; परन्तु सब वस्तुएं परमेश्वर से हैं।
11:12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
11:13 तुम आप ही विचार करो, क्या स्त्री को उघाड़े सिर परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना करना सोहता है?
11:13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
11:14 क्या स्वाभाविक रीति से भी तुम नहीं जानते, कि यदि पुरूष लम्बे बाल रखे, तो उसके लिये अपमान है।
11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
11:15 परन्तु यदि स्त्री लम्बे बाल रखे; तो उसके लिये शोभा है क्योंकि बाल उस को ओढ़नी के लिये दिए गए हैं।
11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
11:16 परन्तु यदि कोई विवाद करना चाहे, तो यह जाने कि न हमारी और न परमेश्वर की कलीसियों की ऐसी रीति है॥
11:16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
11:17 परन्तु यह आज्ञा देते हुए, मैं तुम्हें नहीं सराहता, इसलिये कि तुम्हारे इकट्ठे होने से भलाई नहीं, परन्तु हानि होती है।
11:17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
11:18 क्योंकि पहिले तो मैं यह सुनता हूं, कि जब तुम कलीसिया में इकट्ठे हाते हो, तो तुम में फूट होती है और मैं कुछ कुछ प्रतीति भी करता हूं।
11:18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
11:19 क्याकि विधर्म भी तुम में अवश्य होंगे, इसलिये कि जो लागे तुम में खरे निकले हैं, वे प्रगट हो जांए।
11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
11:20 सो तुम जो एक जगह में इकट्ठे होते हो तो यह प्रभु भोज खाने के लिये नहीं।
11:20 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.
11:21 क्योंकि खाने के समय एक दूसरे से पहिले अपना भोज खा लेता है, सो कोई तो भूखा रहता है, और कोई मतवाला हो जाता है।
11:21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
11:22 क्या खाने पीने के लिये तुम्हारे घर नहीं या परमेश्वर की कलीसिया को तुच्छ जानते हो, और जिन के पास नहीं है उन्हें लज्ज़ित करते हो मैं तुम से क्या कहूं? क्या इस बात में तुम्हारी प्रशंसा करूं? मैं प्रशंसा नहीं करता।
11:22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
11:23 क्योंकि यह बात मुझे प्रभु से पहुंची, और मैं ने तुम्हें भी पहुंचा दी; कि प्रभु यीशु ने जिस रात वह पकड़वाया गया रोटी ली।
11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
11:24 और धन्यवाद करके उसे तोड़ी, और कहा; कि यह मेरी देह है, जो तुम्हारे लिये है: मेरे स्मरण के लिये यही किया करो।
11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
11:25 इसी रीति से उस ने बियारी के पीछे कटोरा भी लिया, और कहा; यह कटोरा मेरे लोहू में नई वाचा है: जब कभी पीओ, तो मेरे स्मरण के लिये यही किया करो।
11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
11:26 क्योंकि जब कभी तुम यह रोटी खाते, और इस कटोरे में से पीते हो, तो प्रभु की मृत्यु को जब तक वह न आए, प्रचार करते हो।
11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
11:27 इसलिये जो कोई अनुचित रीति से प्रभु की रोटी खाए, या उसके कटोरे में से पीए, वह प्रभु की देह और लोहू का अपराधी ठहरेगा।
11:27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
11:28 इसलिये मनुष्य अपने आप को जांच ले और इसी रीति से इस रोटी में से खाए, और इस कटोरे में से पीए।
11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
11:29 क्योंकि जो खाते-पीते समय प्रभु की देह को न पहिचाने, वह इस खाने और पीने से अपने ऊपर दण्ड लाता है।
11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
11:30 इसी कारण तुम में से बहुत से निर्बल और रोगी हैं, और बहुत से सो भी गए।
11:30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
11:31 यदि हम अपने आप में जांचते, तो दण्ड न पाते।
11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
11:32 परन्तु प्रभु हमें दण्ड देकर हमारी ताड़ना करता है इसलिये कि हम संसार के साथ दोषी न ठहरें।
11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
11:33 इसलिये, हे मेरे भाइयों, जब तुम खाने के लिये इकट्ठे होते हो, तो एक दूसरे के लिये ठहरा करो।
11:33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
11:34 यदि कोई भूखा हो, तो अपने घर में खा ले जिस से तुम्हार इकट्ठा होना दण्ड का कारण न हो: और शेष बातों को मैं आकर ठीक कर दूंगा॥
11:34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

1 कुरिन्थियों(1 Corinthians) 10
10:1 हे भाइयों, मैं नहीं चाहता, कि तुम इस बात से अज्ञात रहो, कि हमारे सब बाप दादे बादल के नीचे थे, और सब के सब समुद्र के बीच से पार हो गए।
10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
10:2 और सब ने बादल में, और समुद्र में, मूसा का बपितिस्मा लिया।
10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
10:3 और सब ने एक ही आत्मिक भोजन किया।
10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
10:4 और सब ने एक ही आत्मिक जल पीया, क्योंकि वे उस आत्मिक चट्टान से पीते थे, जो उन के साथ-साथ चलती थी; और वह चट्टान मसीह था।
10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
10:5 परन्तु परमेश्वर उन में के बहुतेरों से प्रसन्न न हुआ, इसलिये वे जंगल में ढेर हो गए।
10:5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
10:6 ये बातें हमारे लिये दृष्टान्त ठहरी, कि जैसे उन्होंने लालच किया, वैसे हम बुरी वस्तुओं का लालच न करें।
10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
10:7 और न तुम मूरत पूजने वाले बनों; जैसे कि उन में से कितने बन गए थे, जैसा लिखा है, कि लोग खाने-पीने बैठे, और खेलने-कूदने उठे।
10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
10:8 और न हम व्यभिचार करें; जैसा उन में से कितनों ने किया: एक दिन में तेईस हजार मर गये ।
10:8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
10:9 और न हम प्रभु को परखें; जैसा उन में से कितनों ने किया, और सांपों के द्वारा नाश किए गए।
10:9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10:10 और न तुम कुड़कुड़ाएं, जिस रीति से उन में से कितने कुड़कुड़ाए, और नाश करने वाले के द्वारा नाश किए गए।
10:10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
10:11 परन्तु यें सब बातें, जो उन पर पड़ी, दृष्टान्त की रीति पर भी: और वे हमारी चितावनी के लिये जो जगत के अन्तिम समय में रहते हैं लिखी गईं हैं।
10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
10:12 इसलिये जो समझता है, कि मैं स्थिर हूं, वह चौकस रहे; कि कहीं गिर न पड़े।
10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
10:13 तुम किसी ऐसी परीक्षा में नहीं पड़े, जो मनुष्य के सहने से बाहर है: और परमेश्वर सच्चा है: वह तुम्हें सामर्थ से बाहर परीक्षा में न पड़ने देगा, वरन परीक्षा के साथ निकास भी करेगा; कि तुम सह सको॥
10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
10:14 इस कारण, हे मेरे प्यारों मूर्ति पूजा से बचे रहो।
10:14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
10:15 मैं बुद्धिमान जानकर, तुम से कहता हूं: जो मैं कहता हूं, उसे तुम परखो।
10:15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
10:16 वह धन्यवाद का कटोरा, जिस पर हम धन्यवाद करते हैं, क्या मसीह के लोहू की सहभागिता नहीं? वह रोटी जिसे हम तोड़ते हैं, क्या वह मसीह की देह की सहभागिता नहीं?
10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
10:17 इसलिये, कि एक ही रोटी है सो हम भी जो बहुत हैं, एक देह हैं: क्योंकि हम सब उसी एक रोटी में भागी होते हैं।
10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
10:18 जो शरीर के भाव से इस्त्रएली हैं, उन को देखो: क्या बलिदानों के खाने वाले वेदी के सहभागी नहीं?
10:18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
10:19 फिर मैं क्या कहता हूं क्या यह कि मूरत का बलिदान कुछ है, या मूरत कुछ है?
10:19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?
10:20 नहीं, वरन यह, कि अन्यजाति जो बलिदान करते हैं, वे परमेश्वर के लिये नहीं, परन्तु दुष्टात्माओं के लिये बलिदान करते हैं: और मैं नहीं चाहता, कि तुम दुष्टात्माओं के सहभागी हो।
10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
10:21 तुम प्रभु के कटोरे, और दुष्टात्माओं के कटोरे दोनों में से नहीं पी सकते! तुम प्रभु की मेज और दुष्टात्माओं की मेज दोनों के साझी नहीं हो सकते।
10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
10:22 क्या हम प्रभु को रिस दिलाते हैं ?क्या हम उस से शक्तिमान हैं?
10:22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
10:23 सब वस्तुएं मेरे लिये उचित तो हैं, परन्तु सब लाभ की नहीं: सब वस्तुएं मेरे लिये उचित तो हैं, परन्तु सब वस्तुओं से उन्नित नहीं।
10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
10:24 कोई अपनी ही भलाई को न ढूंढे, वरन औरों की।
10:24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
10:25 जो कुछ कस्साइयों के यहां बिकता है, वह खाओ और विवेक के कारण कुछ न पूछो।
10:25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:
10:26 क्योंकि पृथ्वी और उसकी भरपूरी प्रभु की है।
10:26 For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.
10:27 और यदि अविश्वासियों में से कोई तुम्हें नेवता दे, और तुम जाना चाहो, तो जो कुछ तुम्हारे साम्हने रखा जाए वही खाओ: और विवेक के कारण कुछ न पूछो।
10:27 If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.
10:28 परन्तु यदि कोई तुम से कहे, यह तो मूरत को बलि की हुई वस्तु है, तो उसी बताने वाले के कारण, और विवेक के कारण न खाओ।
10:28 But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof:
10:29 मेरा मतलब, तेरा विवेक नहीं, परन्तु उस दूसरे का। भला, मेरी स्वतंत्रता दूसरे के विचार से क्यों परखी जाए?
10:29 Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?
10:30 यदि मैं धन्यवाद करके साझी होता हूं, तो जिस पर मैं धन्यवाद करता हूं, उसके कारण मेरी बदनामीं क्यों होती है?
10:30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?
10:31 सो तुम चाहे खाओ, चाहे पीओ, चाहे जो कुछ करो, सब कुछ परमेश्वर की महीमा के लिये करो।
10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
10:32 तुम न यहूदियों, न यूनानियों, और न परमेश्वर की कलीसिया के लिये ठोकर के कारण बनो।
10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
10:33 जैसा मैं भी सब बातों में सब को प्रसन्न रखता हूं, और अपना नहीं, परन्तु बहुतों का लाभ ढूंढ़ता हूं, कि वे उद्धार पाएं।
10:33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

1 कुरिन्थियों(1 Corinthians) 9
9:1 क्या मैं स्वतंत्र नहीं? क्या मैं प्रेरित नहीं? क्या मैं ने यीशु को जो हमारा प्रभु है, नहीं देखा? क्या तुम प्रभु में मेरे बनाए हुए नहीं?
9:1 Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord?
9:2 यदि मैं औरों के लिये प्रेरित नहीं, तौभी तुम्हारे लिये तो हूं; क्योंकि तुम प्रभु में मेरी प्रेरिताई पर छाप हो।
9:2 If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.
9:3 जो मुझे जांचते हैं, उन के लिये यही मेरा उत्तर है।
9:3 Mine answer to them that do examine me is this,
9:4 क्या हमें खाने-पीने का अधिकार नहीं?
9:4 Have we not power to eat and to drink?
9:5 क्या हमें यह अधिकार नहीं, कि किसी मसीही बहिन को ब्याह कर के लिए फिरें, जैसा और प्रेरित और प्रभु के भाई और कैफा करते हैं?
9:5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
9:6 या केवल मुझे और बरनबास को अधिकार नहीं कि कमाई करना छोड़ें।
9:6 Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working?
9:7 कौन कभी अपनी गिरह से खाकर सिपाही का काम करता है? कौन दाख की बारी लगाकर उसका फल नहीं खाता? कौन भेड़ों की रखवाली करके उन का दूध नहीं पीता?
9:7 Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?
9:8 क्या मैं ये बातें मनुष्य ही की रीति पर बोलता हूं?
9:8 Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also?
9:9 क्या व्यवस्था भी यही नहीं कहती? क्योंकि मूसा की व्यवस्था में लिखा है कि दावने में चलते हुए बैल का मुंह न बान्धना: क्या परमेश्वर बैलों ही की चिन्ता करता है? या विशेष करके हमारे लिये कहता है।
9:9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
9:10 हां, हमारे लिये ही लिखा गया, क्योंकि उचित है, कि जोतने वाला आशा से जोते, और दावने वाला भागी होने की आशा से दावनी करे।
9:10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
9:11 सो जब कि हम ने तुम्हारे लिये आत्मिक वस्तुएं बोई, तो क्या यह कोई बड़ी बात है, कि तुम्हारी शारीरिक वस्तुओं की फसल काटें।
9:11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
9:12 जब औरों का तुम पर यह अधिकार है, तो क्या हमारा इस से अधिक न होगा? परन्तु हम यह अधिकार काम में नहीं लाए; परन्तु सब कुछ सहते हैं, कि हमारे द्वारा मसीह के सुसमाचार की कुछ रोक न हो।
9:12 If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
9:13 क्या तुम नहीं जानते कि जो पवित्र वस्तुओं की सेवा करते हैं, वे मन्दिर में से खाते हैं; और जो वेदी की सेवा करते हैं; वे वेदी के साथ भागी होते हैं?
9:13 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
9:14 इसी रीति से प्रभु ने भी ठहराया, कि जो लोग सुसमाचार सुनाते हैं, उन की जीविका सुसमाचार से हो।
9:14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
9:15 परन्तु मैं इन में से कोई भी बात काम में न लाया, और मैं ने तो ये बातें इसलिये नहीं लिखीं, कि मेरे लिये ऐसा किया जाए, क्योंकि इस से तो मेरा मरना ही भला है; कि कोई मेरा घमण्ड व्यर्थ ठहराए।
9:15 But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void.
9:16 और यदि मैं सुसमाचार सुनाऊं, तो मेरा कुछ घमण्ड नहीं; क्योंकि यह तो मेरे लिये अवश्य है; और यदि मैं सुसमाचार न सुनाऊं, तो मुझ पर हाय।
9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
9:17 क्योंकि यदि अपनी इच्छा से यह करता हूं, तो मजदूरी मुझे मिलती है, और यदि अपनी इच्छा से नहीं करता, तौभी भण्डारीपन मुझे सौंपा गया है।
9:17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
9:18 सो मेरी कौन सी मजदूरी है? यह कि सुसमाचार सुनाने में मैं मसीह का सुसमाचार सेंत मेंत कर दूं; यहां तक कि सुसमाचार में जो मेरा अधिकार है, उस को मैं पूरी रीति से काम में लाऊं।
9:18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
9:19 क्योंकि सब से स्वतंत्र होने पर भी मैं ने अपने आप को सब का दास बना दिया है; कि अधिक लोगों को खींच लाऊं।
9:19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
9:20 मैं यहूदियों के लिये यहूदी बना कि यहूदियों को खींच लाऊं, जो लोग व्यवस्था के आधीन हैं उन के लिये मैं व्यवस्था के आधीन न होने पर भी व्यवस्था के आधीन बना, कि उन्हें जो व्यवस्था के आधीन हैं, खींच लाऊं।
9:20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
9:21 व्यवस्थाहीनों के लिये मैं (जो परमेश्वर की व्यवस्था से हीन नहीं, परन्तु मसीह की व्यवस्था के आधीन हूं) व्यवस्थाहीन सा बना, कि व्यवस्थाहीनों को खींच लाऊं।
9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
9:22 मैं निर्बलों के लिये निर्बल सा बना, कि निर्बलों को खींच लाऊं, मैं सब मनुष्यों के लिये सब कुछ बना हूं, कि किसी न किसी रीति से कई एक का उद्धार कराऊं।
9:22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
9:23 और मैं सब कुछ सुसमाचार के लिये करता हूं, कि औरों के साथ उसका भागी हो जाऊं।
9:23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
9:24 क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि दौड़ में तो दौड़ते सब ही हैं, परन्तु इनाम एक ही ले जाता है तुम वैसे ही दौड़ो, कि जीतो।
9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
9:25 और हर एक पहलवान सब प्रकार का संयम करता है, वे तो एक मुरझाने वाले मुकुट को पाने के लिये यह सब करते हैं, परन्तु हम तो उस मुकुट के लिये करते हैं, जो मुरझाने का नहीं।
9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
9:26 इसलिये मैं तो इसी रीति से दौड़ता हूं, परन्तु बेठिकाने नहीं, मैं भी इसी रीति से मुक्कों से लड़ता हूं, परन्तु उस की नाईं नहीं जो हवा पीटता हुआ लड़ता है।
9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
9:27 परन्तु मैं अपनी देह को मारता कूटता, और वश में लाता हूं; ऐसा न हो कि औरों को प्रचार करके, मैं आप ही किसी रीति से निकम्मा ठहरूं॥
9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
