विश्वासियो के लिये दान

1 कुरिन्थियों(1 Corinthians) 16

16:1 अब उस चन्दे के विषय में जो पवित्र लोगों के लिये किया जाता है, जैसी आज्ञा मैं ने गलतिया की कलीसियाओं को दी, वैसा ही तुम भी करो।

16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

16:2 सप्ताह के पहिले दिन तुम में से हर एक अपनी आमदनी के अनुसार कुछ अपने पास रख छोड़ा करे, कि मेरे आने पर चन्दा न करना पड़े।

16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

16:3 और जब मैं आऊंगा, तो जिन्हें तुम चाहोगे उन्हें मैं चिट्ठियां देकर भेज दूंगा, कि तुम्हारा दान यरूशलेम पहुंचा दें।

16:3 And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.

16:4 और यदि मेरा भी जाना उचित हुआ, तो वे मेरे साथ जाएंगे।

16:4 And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.               पौलुस की यात्रा का कार्यक्रम

16:5 और मैं मकिदुनिया होकर तुम्हारे पास आऊंगा क्योंकि मुझे मकिदूनिया होकर तो जाना ही है।

16:5 Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.

16:6 परन्तु सम्भव है कि तुम्हारे यहां ही ठहर जाऊं और शरद ऋतु तुम्हारे यंहा काटूं, तब जिस ओर मेरा जाना हो, उस ओर तुम मुझे पहुंचा दो।

16:6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.

16:7 क्योंकि मैं अब मार्ग में तुम से भेंट करना नहीं चाहता; परन्तु मुझे आशा है, कि यदि प्रभु चाहे तो कुछ समय तक तुम्हारे साथ रहूंगा।

16:7 For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.

16:8 परन्तु मैं पेन्तिकुस्त तक इफिसुस में रहूंगा।

16:8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.

16:9 क्योंकि मेरे लिये एक बड़ा और उपयोगी द्वार खुला है, और विरोधी बहुत से हैं॥

16:9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

16:10 यदि तीमुथियुस आ जाए, तो देखना, कि वह तुम्हारे यहां निडर रहे; क्योंकि वह मेरी नाईं प्रभु का काम करता है।

16:10 Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

16:11 इसलिये कोई उसे तुच्छ न जाने, परन्तु उसे कुशल से इस ओर पहुंचा देना, कि मेरे पास आ जाए; क्योंकि मैं उस की बाट जोह रहा हूं, कि वह भाइयों के साथ आए।

16:11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.

16:12 और भाई अपुल्लोस से मैं ने बहुत बिनती की है कि तुम्हारे पास भाइयों के साथ जाए; परन्तु उस ने इस समय जाने की कुछ भी इच्छा न की, परन्तु जब अवसर पाएगा, तब आ जाएगा।

16:12 As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.           अंतिम आदेश और अभीवादान

16:13 जागते रहो, विश्वास में स्थिर रहो, पुरूषार्थ करो, बलवन्त होओ।

16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

16:14 जो कुछ करते हो प्रेम से करो॥

16:14 Let all your things be done with charity.

16:15 हे भाइयो, तुम स्तिफनास के घराने को जानते हो, कि वे अखया के पहिले फल हैं, और पवित्र लोगों की सेवा के लिये तैयार रहते हैं।

16:15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

16:16 सो मैं तुम से बिनती करता हूं कि ऐसों के आधीन रहो, वरन हर एक के जो इस काम में परिश्रमी और सहकर्मी हैं।

16:16 That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.

16:17 और मैं स्तिफनास और फूरतूनातुस और अखइकुस के आने से आनन्दित हूं, क्योंकि उन्होंने तुम्हारी घटी को पूरी की है।

16:17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.

16:18 और उन्होंने मेरी और तुम्हारी आत्मा को चैन दिया है इसलिये ऐसों को मानो॥

16:18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.

16:19 आसिया की कलीसियाओं की ओर से तुम को नमस्कार; अक्विला और प्रिसका का और उन के घर की कलीसिया को भी तुम को प्रभु में बहुत बहुत नमस्कार।

16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

16:20 सब भाइयों का तुम को नमस्कार: पवित्र चुम्बन से आपस में नमस्कार करो॥

16:20 All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.

16:21 मुझ पौलुस का अपने हाथ का लिखा हुआ नमस्कार: यदि कोई प्रभु से प्रेम न रखे तो वह स्त्रापित हो।

16:21 The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.

16:22 हमारा प्रभु आनेवाला है।

16:22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

16:23 प्रभु यीशु मसीह का अनुग्रह तुम पर होता रहे।

16:23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

16:24 मेरा प्रेम मसीह यीशु में तुम सब से रहे। आमीन॥

16:24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

1 कुरिन्थियों(1 Corinthians) 15

15:1 हे भाइयों, मैं तुम्हें वही सुसमाचार बताता हूं जो पहिले सुना चुका हूं, जिसे तुम ने अंगीकार भी किया था और जिस में तुम स्थिर भी हो।

15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

15:2 उसी के द्वारा तुम्हारा उद्धार भी होता है, यदि उस सुसमाचार को जो मैं ने तुम्हें सुनाया था स्मरण रखते हो; नहीं तो तुम्हारा विश्वास करना व्यर्थ हुआ।

15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

15:3 इसी कारण मैं ने सब से पहिले तुम्हें वही बात पहुंचा दी, जो मुझे पहुंची थी, कि पवित्र शास्त्र के वचन के अनुसार यीशु मसीह हमारे पापों के लिये मर गया।

15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

15:4 ओर गाड़ा गया; और पवित्र शास्त्र के अनुसार तीसरे दिन जी भी उठा।

15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

15:5 और कैफा को तब बारहों को दिखाई दिया।

15:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

15:6 फिर पांच सौ से अधिक भाइयों को एक साथ दिखाई दिया, जिन में से बहुतेरे अब तक वर्तमान हैं पर कितने सो गए।

15:6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

15:7 फिर याकूब को दिखाई दिया तब सब प्रेरितों को दिखाई दिया।

15:7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

15:8 और सब के बाद मुझ को भी दिखाई दिया, जो मानो अधूरे दिनों का जन्मा हूं।

15:8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

15:9 क्योंकि मैं प्रेरितों में सब से छोटा हूं, वरन प्रेरित कहलाने के योग्य भी नहीं, क्योंकि मैं ने परमेश्वर की कलीसिया को सताया था।

15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

15:10 परन्तु मैं जो कुछ भी हूं, परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह से हूं: और उसका अनुग्रह जो मुझ पर हुआ, वह व्यर्थ नहीं हुआ परन्तु मैं ने उन सब से बढ़कर परिश्रम भी किया: तौभी यह मेरी ओर से नहीं हुआ परन्तु परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह से जो मुझ पर था।

15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

15:11 सो चाहे मैं हूं, चाहे वे हों, हम यही प्रचार करते हैं, और इसी पर तुम ने विश्वास भी किया॥

15:11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.                       हमारा पुनरुत्थान

15:12 सो जब कि मसीह का यह प्रचार किया जाता है, कि वह मरे हुओं में से जी उठा, तो तुम में से कितने क्योंकर कहते हैं, कि मरे हुओं का पुनरुत्थान है ही नहीं?

15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

15:13 यदि मरे हुओं का पुनरुत्थान ही नहीं, तो मसीह भी नहीं जी उठा।

15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

15:14 और यदि मसीह भी नहीं जी उठा, तो हमारा प्रचार करना भी व्यर्थ है; और तुम्हारा विश्वास भी व्यर्थ है।

15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

15:15 वरन हम परमेश्वर के झूठे गवाह ठहरे; क्योंकि हम ने परमेश्वर के विषय में यह गवाही दी कि उस ने मसीह को जिला दिया यद्यपि नहीं जिलाया, यदि मरे हुए नहीं जी उठते।

15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

15:16 और यदि मुर्दे नहीं जी उठते, तो मसीह भी नहीं जी उठा।

15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

15:17 और यदि मसीह नहीं जी उठा, तो तुम्हारा विश्वास व्यर्थ है; और तुम अब तक अपने पापों में फंसे हो।

15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

15:18 वरन जो मसीह मे सो गए हैं, वे भी नाश हुए।

15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

15:19 यदि हम केवल इसी जीवन में मसीह से आशा रखते हैं तो हम सब मनुष्यों से अधिक अभागे हैं॥

15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

15:20 परन्तु सचमुच मसीह मुर्दों में से जी उठा है, और जो सो गए हैं, उन में पहिला फल हुआ।

15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

15:21 क्योंकि जब मनुष्य के द्वारा मृत्यु आई; तो मनुष्य ही के द्वारा मरे हुओं का पुनरुत्थान भी आया।

15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

15:22 और जैसे आदम में सब मरते हैं, वैसा ही मसीह में सब जिलाए जाएंगे।

15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

15:23 परन्तु हर एक अपनी अपनी बारी से; पहिला फल मसीह; फिर मसीह के आने पर उसके लोग।

15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

15:24 इस के बाद अन्त होगा; उस समय वह सारी प्रधानता और सारा अधिकार और सामर्थ का अन्त करके राज्य को परमेश्वर पिता के हाथ में सौंप देगा।

15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

15:25 क्योंकि जब तक कि वह अपने बैरियों को अपने पांवों तले न ले आए, तब तक उसका राज्य करना अवश्य है।

15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

15:26 सब से अन्तिम बैरी जो नाश किया जाएगा वह मृत्यु है।

15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

15:27 क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने सब कुछ उसके पांवों तले कर दिया है, परन्तु जब वह कहता है कि सब कुछ उसके आधीन कर दिया गया है तो प्रत्यक्ष है, कि जिस ने सब कुछ उसके आधीन कर दिया, वह आप अलग रहा।

15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

15:28 और जब सब कुछ उसके आधीन हो जाएगा, तो पुत्र आप भी उसके आधीन हो जाएगा जिस ने सब कुछ उसके आधीन कर दिया; ताकि सब में परमेश्वर ही सब कुछ हो॥

15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

15:29 नहीं तो जो लोग मरे हुओं के लिये बपतिस्मा लेते हैं, वे क्या करेंगे? यदि मुर्दे जी उठते ही नहीं तो फिर क्यों उन के लिये बपतिस्मा लेते हैं?

15:29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

15:30 और हम भी क्यों हर घड़ी जाखिम में पड़े रहते हैं?

15:30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

15:31 हे भाइयो, मुझे उस घमण्ड की सोंह जो हमारे मसीह यीशु में मैं तुम्हारे विषय में करता हूं, कि मैं प्रति दिन मरता हूं।

15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our LORD, I die daily.

15:32 यदि मैं मनुष्य की रीति पर इफिसुस में वन-पशुओं से लड़ा, तो मुझे क्या लाभ हुआ? यदि मुर्दे जिलाए नहीं जाएंगे, तो आओ, खाए-पीए, क्योंकि कल तो मर ही जाएंगे।

15:32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

15:33 धोखा न खाना, बुरी संगति अच्छे चरित्र को बिगाड़ देती है।

15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

15:34 धर्म के लिये जाग उठो और पाप न करो; क्योंकि कितने ऐसे हैं जो परमेश्वर को नहीं जानते, मैं तुम्हें लज्ज़ित करते के लिये यह कहता हूं॥

15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.               पुनरुत्थान की देह

15:35 अब कोई यह कहेगा, कि मुर्दे किस रीति से जी उठते हैं, और कैसी देह के साथ आते हैं?

15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

15:36 हे निर्बुद्धि, जो कुछ तु बोता है, जब तक वह न मरे जिलाया नहीं जाता।

15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

15:37 ओर जो तू बोता है, यह वह देह नहीं जो उत्पन्न होनेवाली है, परन्तु निरा दाना है, चाहे गेहूं का, चाहे किसी और अनाज का।

15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

15:38 परन्तु परमेश्वर अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार उस को देह देता है; और हर एक बीज को उस की विशेष देह।

15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

15:39 सब शरीर एक सरीखे नहीं, परन्तु मनुष्यों का शरीर और है, पशुओं का शरीर और है; पक्षियों का शरीर और है; मछिलयों का शरीर और है।

15:39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

15:40 स्वर्गीय देह है, और पार्थिव देह भी है: परन्तु स्वर्गीय देहों का तेज और है, और पार्थिव का और।

15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

15:41 सूर्य का तेज और है, चान्द का तेज और है, और तारागणों का तेज और है, (क्योंकि एक तारे से दूसरे तारे के तेज में अन्तर है)।

15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

15:42 मुर्दों का जी उठना भी ऐसा ही है। शरीर नाशमान दशा में बोया जाता है, और अविनाशी रूप में जी उठता है।

15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

15:43 वह अनादर के साथ बोया जाता है, और तेज के साथ जी उठता है; निर्बलता के साथ बोया जाता है; और सामर्थ के साथ जी उठता है।

15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

15:44 स्वाभाविक देह बोई जाती है, और आत्मिक देह जी उठती है: जब कि स्वाभाविक देह है, तो आत्मिक देह भी है।

15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

15:45 ऐसा ही लिखा भी है, कि प्रथम मनुष्य, अर्थात आदम, जीवित प्राणी बना और अन्तिम आदम, जीवनदायक आत्मा बना।

15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

15:46 परन्तु पहिले आत्मिक न था, पर स्वाभाविक था, इस के बाद आत्मिक हुआ।

15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

15:47 प्रथम मनुष्य धरती से अर्थात मिट्टी का था; दूसरा मनुष्य स्वर्गीय है।

15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

15:48 जैसा वह मिट्टी का था वैसे ही और मिट्टी के हैं; और जैसा वह स्वर्गीय है, वैसे ही और भी स्वर्गीय हैं।

15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

15:49 और जैसे हम ने उसका रूप जो मिट्टी का था धारण किया वैसे ही उस स्वर्गीय का रूप भी धारण करेंगे॥

15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

15:50 हे भाइयों, मैं यह कहता हूं कि मांस और लोहू परमेश्वर के राज्य के अधिकारी नहीं हो सकते, और न विनाश अविनाशी का अधिकारी हो सकता है।

15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

15:51 देखे, मैं तुम से भेद की बात कहता हूं: कि हम सब तो नहीं सोएंगे, परन्तु सब बदल जाएंगे।

15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

15:52 और यह क्षण भर में, पलक मारते ही पिछली तुरही फूंकते ही होगा: क्योंकि तुरही फूंकी जाएगी और मुर्दे अविनाशी दशा में उठाए जांएगे, और हम बदल जाएंगे।

15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

15:53 क्योंकि अवश्य है, कि यह नाशमान देह अविनाश को पहिन ले, और यह मरनहार देह अमरता को पहिन ले।

15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

15:54 और जब यह नाशमान अविनाश को पहिन लेगा, और यह मरनहार अमरता को पहिन लेगा, तक वह वचन जो लिखा है, पूरा हो जाएगा, कि जय ने मृत्यु को निगल लिया।

15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

15:55 हे मृत्यु तेरी जय कहां रही?

15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

15:56 हे मृत्यु तेरा डंक कहां रहा? मृत्यु का डंक पाप है; और पाप का बल व्यवस्था है।

15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

15:57 परन्तु परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद हो, जो हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा हमें जयवन्त करता है।

15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

15:58 सो हे मेरे प्रिय भाइयो, दृढ़ और अटल रहो, और प्रभु के काम में सर्वदा बढ़ते जाओ, क्योंकि यह जानते हो, कि तुम्हारा परिश्रम प्रभु में व्यर्थ नहीं है॥

15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

14:1 प्रेम का अनुकरण करो, और आत्मिक वरदानों की भी धुन में रहो विशेष करके यह, कि भविष्यद्वाणी करो।

14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

14:2 क्योंकि जो अन्य ‘भाषा में बातें करता है; वह मनुष्यों से नहीं, परन्तु परमेश्वर से बातें करता है; इसलिये कि उस की कोई नहीं समझता; क्योंकि वह भेद की बातें आत्मा में होकर बोलता है।

14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

14:3 परन्तु जो भविष्यद्वाणी करता है, वह मनुष्यों से उन्नति, और उपदेश, और शान्ति की बातें कहता है।

14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

14:4 जो अन्य भाषा में बातें करता है, वह अपनी ही उन्नति करता है; परन्तु जो भविष्यद्वाणी करता है, वह कलीसिया की उन्नति करता है।

14:4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

14:5 मैं चाहता हूं, कि तुम सब अन्य भाषाओं में बातें करो, परन्तु अधिकतर यह चाहता हूं कि भविष्यद्वाणी करो: क्योंकि यदि अन्यान्य भाषा बोलने वाला कलीसिया की उन्नति के लिये अनुवाद न करे तो भविष्यद्ववाणी करने वाला उस से बढ़कर है।

14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

14:6 इसलिये हे भाइयों, यदि मैं तुम्हारे पास आकर अन्य अन्य भाषा में बातें करूं, और प्रकाश, या ज्ञान, या भविष्यद्वाणी, या उपदेश की बातें तुम से न कहूं, तो मुझ से तुम्हें क्या लाभ होगा?

14:6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

14:7 इसी प्रकार यदि निर्जीव वस्तुएं भी, जिन से ध्वनि निकलती है जैसे बांसुरी, या बीन, यदि उन के स्वरों में भेद न हो तो जो फूंका या बजाया जाता है, वह क्योंकर पहिचाना जाएगा?

14:7 And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?

14:8 और यदि तुरही का शब्द साफ न हो तो कौन लड़ाई के लिये तैयारी करेगा?

14:8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

14:9 ऐसे ही तुम भी यदि जीभ से साफ साफ बातें न कहो, तो जो कुछ कहा जाता है वह क्योंकर समझा जाएगा? तुम तो हवा से बातें करने वाले ठहरोगे।

14:9 So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.

14:10 जगत में कितने ही प्रकार की भाषाएं क्यों न हों, परन्तु उन में से कोई भी बिना अर्थ की न होगी।

14:10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

14:11 इसलिये यदि मैं किसी भाषा का अर्थ न समझूं, तो बोलने वाले की दृष्टि में परदेशी ठहरूंगा; और बोलने वाला मेरे दृष्टि में परदेशी ठहरेगा।

14:11 Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.

14:12 इसलिये तुम भी जब आत्मिक वरदानों की धुन में हो, तो ऐसा प्रयत्न करो, कि तुम्हारे वरदानों की उन्नति से कलीसिया की उन्नति हो।

14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

14:13 इस कारण जो अन्य भाषा बोले, तो वह प्रार्थना करे, कि उसका अनुवाद भी कर सके।

14:13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.

14:14 इसलिये यदि मैं अन्य भाषा में प्रार्थना करूं, तो मेरी आत्मा प्रार्थना करती है, परन्तु मेरी बुद्धि काम नहीं देती।

14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

14:15 सो क्या करना चाहिए मैं आत्मा से भी प्रार्थना करूंगा, और बुद्धि से भी प्रार्थना करूंगा; मैं आत्मा से गाऊंगा, और बुद्धि से भी गाऊंगा।

14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

14:16 नहीं तो यदि तू आत्मा ही से धन्यवाद करेगा, तो फिर अज्ञानी तेरे धन्यवाद पर आमीन क्योंकर कहेगा? इसलिये कि वह तो नहीं जानता, कि तू क्या कहता है?

14:16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

14:17 तू तो भली भांति से धन्यवाद करता है, परन्तु दूसरे की उन्नति नहीं होती।

14:17 For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.

14:18 मैं अपने परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता हूं, कि मैं तुम सब से अधिक अन्य अन्य भाषा में बोलता हूं।

14:18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

14:19 परन्तु कलीसिया में अन्य भाषा में दस हजार बातें कहने से यह मुझे और भी अच्छा जान पड़ता है, कि औरों के सिखाने के लिये बुद्धि से पांच ही बातें कहूं॥

14:19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

14:20 हे भाइयो, तुम समझ में बालक न बनो: तौभी बुराई में तो बालक रहो, परन्तु समझ में सियाने बनो।

14:20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

14:21 व्यवस्था में लिखा है, कि प्रभु कहता है; मैं अन्य भाषा बोलने वालों के द्वारा, और पराए मुख के द्वारा इन लोगों से बात करूंगा तौभी वे मेरी न सुनेंगे।

14:21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the LORD.

14:22 इसलिये अन्य अन्य भाषाएं विश्वासियों के लिये नहीं, परन्तु अविश्वासियों के लिये चिन्ह हैं, और भविष्यद्वाणी अविश्वासीयों के लिये नहीं परन्तु विश्वासियों के लिये चिन्ह हैं।

14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

14:23 सो यदि कलीसिया एक जगह इकट्ठी हो, और सब के सब अन्य अन्य भाषा बोलें, और अनपढ़े या अविश्वासी लोग भीतर आ जाएं तो क्या वे तुम्हें पागल न कहेंगे?

14:23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

14:24 परन्तु यदि सब भविष्यद्वाणी करने लगें, और कोई अविश्वासी या अनपढ़ा मनुष्य भीतर आ जाए, तो सब उसे दोषी ठहरा देंगे और परखलेंगे।

14:24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:

14:25 और उसके मन के भेद प्रगट हो जाएंगे, और तब वह मुंह के बल गिरकर परमेश्वर को दण्डवत करेगा, और मान लेगा, कि सचमुच परमेश्वर तुम्हारे बीच में है।

14:25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.                         उपासना में अनुशासन

14:26 इसलिये हे भाइयो क्या करना चाहिए? जब तुम इकट्ठे होते हो, तो हर एक के हृदय में भजन, या उपदेश, या अन्यभाषा, या प्रकाश, या अन्यभाषा का अर्थ बताना रहता है: सब कुछ आत्मिक उन्नति के लिये होना चाहिए।

14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

14:27 यदि अन्य भाषा में बातें करनीं हों, तो दो दो, या बहुत हो तो तीन तीन जन बारी बारी बोलें, और एक व्यक्ति अनुवाद करे।

14:27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

14:28 परन्तु यदि अनुवाद करने वाला न हो, तो अन्य भाषा बालने वाला कलीसिया में शान्त रहे, और अपने मन से, और परमेश्वर से बातें करे।

14:28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

14:29 भविष्यद्वक्ताओं में से दो या तीन बोलें, और शेष लोग उन के वचन को परखें।

14:29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

14:30 परन्तु यदि दूसरे पर जो बैठा है, कुछ ईश्वरीय प्रकाश हो, तो पहिला चुप हो जाए।

14:30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

14:31 क्योंकि तुम सब एक एक करके भविष्यद्वाणी कर सकते हो ताकि सब सीखें, और सब शान्ति पाएं।

14:31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

14:32 और भविष्यद्वक्ताओं की आत्मा भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के वश में है।

14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

14:33 क्योंकि परमेश्वर गड़बड़ी का नहीं, परन्तु शान्ति का कर्त्ता है; जैसा पवित्र लोगों की सब कलीसियाओं में है॥

14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

14:34 स्त्रियां कलीसिया की सभा में चुप रहें, क्योंकि उन्हें बातें करने की आज्ञा नहीं, परन्तु आधीन रहने की आज्ञा है: जैसा व्यवस्था में लिखा भी है।

14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

14:35 और यदि वे कुछ सीखना चाहें, तो घर में अपने अपने पति से पूछें, क्योंकि स्त्री का कलीसिया में बातें करना लज्ज़ा की बात है।

14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

14:36 क्या परमेश्वर का वचन तुम में से निकला? या केवल तुम ही तक पहुंचा है?

14:36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

14:37 यदि कोई मनुष्य अपने आप को भविष्यद्वक्ता या आत्मिक जन समझे, तो यह जान ले, कि जो बातें मैं तुम्हें लिखता हूं, वे प्रभु की आज्ञाएं हैं।

14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

14:38 परन्तु यदि कोई न जाने, तो न जाने॥

14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

14:39 सो हे भाइयों, भविष्यद्वाणी करने की धुन में रहो और अन्य भाषा बोलने से मना न करो।

14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

14:40 पर सारी बातें सभ्यता और क्रमानुसार की जाएं।

14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
